ISF's bRUNch/5K/10K for Kids Cancer
ISF's bRUNch/5K/10K for Kids Cancer event is something we look forward to each year. Unfortunately, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the event will have to be done virtually this year. We're joining from Raleigh this year. Although we are sad that we won’t be able to physically gather with thousands of others in support of pediatric cancer research, we are excited that the virtual edition allows so many more of our Ethen’s Fight supporters to join our team from all over the country and the world! We have had the unique opportunity to live in many places and to develop friendships with people who now live all over the world. We would love for that to be represented in the Ethen’s Fight team.
The official race date is September 26th, and for those in the Raleigh area, we are hopeful that we can gather in a safe, appropriate way on that day to run/walk and enjoy some refreshments afterwards together. If you can't join us in Raleigh, you can participate in a variety of ways. As usual, you can walk, jog, run, or push a stroller, but you can also hike, or bike—or skip, or cartwheel, or barrel roll—the miles to participate in the race anytime during the week of September 20-26. You will still receive a race packet and bib in the mail prior to the event and we would love to see pictures of your participation! When you register, make sure you select the team “Ethen’s Fight” and let us know! There are more details about how the virtual event will be done on the registration website.
To encourage you to register now, ISF is offering a $5 off discount the next couple days until 11:59 PM on Thursday, July 23rd. Just use coupon code CANTSTOPWONTSTOP when registering.
The current pandemic has not stopped cancer and its devastating and life-altering effects on children and their families. So many of you supported us as Ethen fought through the painful treatments and continue to support us as he heals and grows. We ask now that you join us in Ethen’s Fight to advance pediatric cancer research so that families can be given more hope upon diagnosis and so that children may have less harsh and toxic treatments available to them in the years to come. We join ISF and “Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop” until more children have a chance to beat cancer, grow hair, and live their dreams!
