Christmas Follow-Up!

CHRISTMAS DELIVERY

     Thank you everyone who sent gifts and gift cards for the family going through treatment this Christmas season! We delivered a large box full of presents to the family on Christmas Eve. The family was very appreciative and have written two thank-you emails to us telling how excited they were to receive gifts.
     Some of you have also sent gifts for patients at the oncology clinic. We still have those and plan to take them to the clinic when we go next month. If you would still like to send gift cards, or other gifts for patients at the clinic, please contact us. You can find the wishlist here, if you would like specific ideas.

UPDATE ON ETHEN

     Ethen has been doing well! He had an outpatient surgery to place tubes in his ears, which has caused a marked improvement in Ethen's hearing. Because Ethen has had persistent congestion in his ears, the extent of the damage done to Ethen's hearing by chemotherapy is unclear. It's clear that his hearing is diminished, but he has started speaking more clearly and learning more words since having tubes placed in his ears.
     Please continue praying that Ethen makes developmental strides. We are so thankful for how he's doing!
