Isolation Mode
HOME
It's been a fairly smooth week. Chemotherapy went as well as we could have hoped. Ethen has been gradually run down as we'd expected, but he has still been playful and involved in the action with the other kids. Unfortunately, we know Ethen's white blood cell count will plummet in the next few days, which means we've been preparing to enter an isolation mode of sorts. The littlest germ could mean a lethal infection. Please pray with us that Ethen can avoid infection.
A WORD OF THANKS
We'd like to say thank you to all who have given and offered support in the form of gifts and meals! Ranging from family to organizations to complete strangers, it's been a huge blessing to feel so supported during this time. We praise God for his grace in you. We know that people have made personal sacrifice to help us during this time for which we are very thankful. We are also thankful for you who have been in prayer with us consistently. We feel sustained with the knowledge that others are praying with us, and many days we feel a supernatural peace that goes beyond our understanding.
