Raising Awareness and a Short Update

NEUROBLASTOMA

The American Cancer Society notes, "Neuroblastoma is by far the most common cancer in infants (less than 1 year old). It accounts for about 6% of all cancers in children. There are about 700 new cases of neuroblastoma each year in the United States" (more here). In the broader world of cancers, neuroblastoma is very rare. Hence, it receives little funding for research to improve treatment methods and develop drugs to destroy it. If you want to learn more about Neuroblastoma, check out the Isabella Santos Foundation and consider donating a small amount to their efforts to fight it.

UPDATE ON ETHEN

Ethen's been trying to fill his diapers with the lysed cancer cells today. Thankfully his kidney function seems to have improved throughout the day. He's still swollen in much of his body because of fluid retention. Please pray for continued progress in the right direction so Ethen can eliminate excess fluids so as to gain mobility and easier breathing.
